Proper citations are essential for academic integrity. This utilitypage helpsbrings youtogether three tools in a tabbed interface at the top, plus your complete citation library below:

  • Document Check — Select an uploaded document and verify its existing citation formattingmetadata (DOI, ISBN, formatting)

  • Manual Entry — Paste raw bibliography text or enter fields manually to parse and checksave citations

  • Add Source — Create citation entries for consistencyphysical acrosssources (books, printed materials) that don't have a digital identifier

Below the tabs, the My Citations table displays all your referencesaved list.

When you should use this


Use CitationMy ManagerCitations when you:

  • Want to verify citation formatting
    for an uploaded document

  • Need to manually add a reference by pasting or typing bibliographic data

  • Want to add a physical book or printed source to your citation library

  • Need to check APA/APA7/Harvard compliance

  • Are finalizing your bibliography
    and want to export citations (e.g. as RIS)

  • Want to detect formatting errors
     or missing metadata

How it works

  1. Navigate to Workspace> → My Citations

  2. Enter

    Use the three tabs at the top of the page:

    Document CheckSelect a document, click "Check", and review the result

    Manual EntryPaste bibliography text or pastefill citations
    in fields manually, then save

    Add SourceEnter details for a physical source (title, author, year, ISBN, etc.)

     

  3. Select citation

    If stylea (APA7,result Harvard,is etc.)returned, review the analysis card showing:

  4. Review analysis:
    •    Formatting suggestions
    •    Missing elements
    Parsed Consistencycitation checks
    fields

  5. Copy corrected

    Apply citations
    [Placeholderor -save Screenshot ofthe citation manager]to your library

  6. Below the tabs, browse your full citation table with:
    Search and type filtering
    Sort by date or alphabetically
    Select and export citations as RIS files
    Delete individual entries


Important notes

  • This is a formatting helper,helper and citation library, not a completefull reference manager

  • Use alongside tools like Zotero or EndNote
    for complex bibliographies

  • Verify automated suggestions manually
