The Outline Generator creates a detailed chapter structure for your thesis, including subchapters and estimated page counts based on academic standards.
What this section is about
A good outline is the backbone of a successful thesis. The Outline Generator produces a complete table of contents tailored to your degree type, word count target, and research questions. It follows academic conventions while adapting to your specific topic.
When you should use this
Use the Outline Generator when you:
•    Have finalized your topic
•    Need a structural roadmap before writing
•    Want to understand how to divide your word count
•    Are preparing a proposal for your supervisor
How it works
1.    Navigate to Writing > Topic Explorer > Outline
2.    Import from Topic Ideas (optional):
•    Select a previous topic exploration
•    Click "Import Topic" to pre-fill fields
3.    Enter your parameters:
•    Title: Your thesis title
•    Research Questions: One per line
•    Degree Type: Bachelor, Master, or PhD
•    Target Word Count: Your required length
•    Language: German or English
4.    Optionally expand "Advanced Context":
•    Introduction notes
•    Problem statement
•    Objectives
•    Methodology details
5.    Click "Generate Outline"
6.    Review the generated structure:
•    Chapters with subchapters
•    Estimated pages per section
•    Chapter descriptions
•    Total page estimate
7.    Copy the outline or export to your Thesis Outline Manager

Important notes
•    Page estimates are guidelines based on academic norms
•    Your supervisor may have specific structural requirements
•    The outline can be customized after generation
•    Import the outline to Thesis Outline Manager for progress tracking
