The Dashboard is your central hub for tracking thesis progress and accessing all platform features. It provides an at-a-glance view of your work status.

The Dashboard displays key metrics about your thesis work including word count progress, document statistics, and recent activity. It helps you stay organized and motivated throughout the writing process.

When you should use this

Visit the Dashboard when you:

• Start a working session
• Want to check your overall progress
• Need quick access to different platform areas
• Want to see recent activity

How it works

The Dashboard is organized into several cards:

1. Thesis Progress
   •    Shows your selected thesis and chapter breakdown
   •    Displays completion status per chapter
   •    Tracks overall word count vs. target
2. Timeline
   •    Displays days until your deadline
   •    Calculates required words per day
   •    Color-coded urgency indicators (green/yellow/red)
3. Literature Overview
   •    Total documents uploaded
   •    Number of summaries created
   •    Count of theory and method sections generated
4. Writing Progress
   •    Current word count vs. target
   •    Weekly writing trend
   •    Progress percentage
5. Qualitative Stats (if applicable)
   •    Number of codebooks
   •    Interview count
   •    Coded segments total
6. Important notes
   •    Dashboard metrics update automatically as you work
   •    Set your thesis deadline in Thesis Outline Manager for accurate timeline calculations
   •    The Dashboard does not store data itself - it aggregates from other features
